Results and Accomplishments
First three years:  Farmers maket for local growers, and growers' cooperative to market local farm products to restaurants, green markets, WIC markets and institutions, both helping to support local agriculture by getting more consumer dollars directly to the farmers and educating the public on sustainable agriculture; preservation of six farms containing productive farmland and high priority soils through conservation easements, combining federal, local and private financing.
Innovation/Highlight

Agri-business and non-agri-business, NGOs, farmers, governmental entities and consumers work together to make farming and preservation of farmland feasible.
